How to Get to Phu Quoc Island: Flights, Ferries & Buses
The first question is rarely about beaches. It is how to get to Phu Quoc Island without spending the first day of a short holiday in transit. There are three workable answers, and the right one depends less on distance than on what you are willing to trade — money for hours, or hours for money. Direct flights: the shortest version of the trip Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways all run daily direct flights to the island. From Ho Chi Minh City the flight takes about an hour.
